For our customer Pfizer, H.Essers is in charge of transports to Sortland, in the north of Norway with departure from Cluj, Romania and Soborg, Denmark. Sortland is situated 1.385 km north of Oslo and some 400 km south of the Arctic Circle. Winter temperatures there can drop to -20°, roads are constantly covered in snow and ice and snowstorms are very common in the area. Due to these harsh weather conditions, drivers are forced to use snow chains.
