Galp, Portugal’s largest integrated energy corporation, has adopted the field service solution ZetesAres. The objective is to improve distribution control and visibility of its bulk gas and white products (petrol and diesel) throughout its thousands of Portuguese delivery points.
Increase reliability and rapidity
Galp operates a large fleet of up to 150 vehicles throughout the year, varying during peak periods, for the distribution of bulk gas and white products to thousands of delivery points in Portugal. In this operation, it is essential to gain real-time insight into their delivery process, which is critical in order to mitigate errors and improve service levels. From the point of view of productivity, the aim was also to enhance delivery productivity through GPS navigation and monitoring processes.
ZetesAres enables central management of the entire estate, including the software, devices, and users. This reduces the administrative tasks burden and ensures the highest possible productivity and availability in the field.
Operational improvements
The cloud-based ZetesAres delivery solution has made it possible to overcome these challenges. This solution gives Galp Services real-time access to delivery information, providing better connectivity and visibility while reducing the risk of administrative errors.
Every vehicle is now equipped with a mobile terminal with the solution, a mobile printer for invoice printing, delivery guides and checklists. ZetesAres enables central management of the entire estate, including the software, devices, and users. This reduces the administrative tasks burden and ensures the highest possible productivity and availability in the field.
Furthermore, valuable business and delivery performance data is now automatically collected in the field, increasing operational efficiency and ensuring maximum delivery accuracy. At back-office level, it is now easy to obtain reports about discrepancies at specific delivery locations, as well as details on the traceability of GPL freight and white goods.
