Blue Yonder is hiring! As a result of recent years of successes, Blue Yonder is hiring in most departments: marketing, business development, sales, pre-sales and more. Allow us to introduce you to John Rickan, Vice President Human Resources EMEA, Blue Yonder.
John Rickan joined Blue Yonder in 2019 as Vice President Human Resources EMEA to prepare the Blue Yonder EMEA organization for a life as a public company in the future by creating a best place to work and growth. He is a high performing, experienced Human Resource executive with a strong proven track record both as an international Human Resource Executive and as a global Human Resource Business Partner. During his career he has led and worked on more than 25 mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in addition to having planned and driven numerous international business transformations. The current role at Blue Yonder being the latest example of a successful international business transformation. The journey from JDA Software to Blue Yonder contributed to an increase in the company valuation from USD 2.5 billion in 2019 to USD 8.5 billion in Q3 2021. Full year 2021 ended with a record-breaking year for the company, featuring total revenue of $ 1.1 billion, SaaS backlog of more than $ 1 billion, and a record number of cloud customers. Previous roles include various HR management positions at country and region level at Ericsson, Panasonic, EDS, HP and latest at Hewlett Packard Enterprise before joining Blue Yonder.
John has an excellent strategic overview of the business needs. He is driven by a strong interest in making a difference by contributing to creating a sustainable competitive advantage in the fast-moving global business environment, to increase the value for the business, employees and customers with a focus on culture, diversity, growing talents, accelerating performance and business development. John is very result driven, has very strong ethics and knows how to operate in a complex business environment. His ‘can do’ mentality, energy and engagement are remarkable, and his judge of character is always on the mark. With his 24 years of experience in several multinational companies, proven track record both as a global Human Resource Business Partner and as an international Human Resource Executive, John Rickan is a clear asset to the Blue Yonder family.
