Lyngsoe Library Systems automates heavy and time-consuming library material handling tasks making it easier for staff and patrons

Lyngsoe Library Systems automates heavy and time-consuming library material handling tasks making it easier for staff and patrons.

At the PLA show in Indianapolis 2014, Lyngsoe Systems introduced the new series of automated material handling systems, the SortMate™ 2000 series.

The Lyngsoe SortMate™ 2000 sorting system builds on our experience of implementing over 300 high-quality sorter systems in North America and Europe, and from working closely with customers to achieve development needs.

The design of the Lyngsoe SortMate™ 2000 addresses ergonomics, usability and performance to put a key focus on releasing the potential of library staff, delivering the needs of library management and improving the patron experience.

The completely modular design of the Lyngsoe SortMate™ 2000 makes it possible to build automated material handling systems to meet any requirement with regards to capacity and available space. The SortMate™ 2000 is designed to fit into any library environment as the sorting system’s small footprint makes it possible to locate the unit in very compact spaces, and can be fitted with any number of bins.
