For our location in Arden we are looking for
As a Site Manager you will have the overall responsibility for the installation of those projects that have been assigned after a formal handover from the responsible project manager.
You will act as team-lead for the entire site team and have the full responsibility for the installation, including internal and external deliveries. The responsibility also includes guidance to the customer and the customer representatives and to ensure that potential adjustments to the project are documented.
Your responsibility entails, among other things, management of the installation, safety regulations, resources and time-management, quality, such as:
Securing that the projects follow the company’s Site Excellence and associated documentation
Management of site teams, which normally include electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and PLC software engineers.
Coordination with our software engineers from WCS/WMS teams.
Securing of a high quality level that complies with specific demands set with the customer and with demands from the company’s Quality Management system.
Responsibility for precise prognosis, resource allocations, planning and budgeting of the site activities.
Support to the sales department in estimating hours for the installation activities.
Participation in coordination meetings with the customer.
This job includes travelling, and 150 travel days per year must be anticipated.
Degree in Engineering in a relevant technology field
Degree in Project/Site Management, Graduate Certificate in Project/Site Management or Site Management Certification
At least 2-4 years’ experience from managing multi-stakeholders and cross-functional project teams preferably from the logistics business area
You also possess the following skills and qualifications:
You are well founded within logistics systems with a strong focus on on-site installation activities as well as commissioning and test procedures.
You must be analytical and have a highly structured way of working
Great English communication skills
Understanding of how to motivate and energize colleagues.
