Natures Way Foods awarded 'Supply Chain Initiative' award at Food Manufacture Excellence Awards
Columbus customer, Natures Way Foods, has been awarded the prestigious prize of Supply Chain Initiative at last nights ceremony in London.
The annual awards, hosted by England rugby legend Matt Dawson, are to celebrate outstanding achievement within the UKs fast-growing food and drink industry.
The judges were impressed with Natures Way Foods approach to getting the best possible quality product to their customers and ultimately to the consumer. This included initiatives based around sourcing strategy, full visibility and traceability of produce, accuracy of real time information, product quality and improved automation with increased productivity.

Natures Way Foods supply retailers and food service companies with prepared salads, prepared fruit, coleslaw and potato salad, dressed salads, and fresh food to go products.
Since the company began in 1994, Natures Way Foods has grown by expanding the customer base and moving into new fresh convenient categories and product areas, combining the freshest produce with the latest food manufacturing technology. This has included the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics as their ERP solution, which is at the heart of their operations. Stewart Wilmot said:
